I would like to see Mark let other sharks in on deals with him to round and broaden their exposure as well. For instance a lot of times we may hear Barbara, Damon or Robert indicate that they are not familiar with a space and they bow out. Their issues were solely shipping related. They were extremely competent entrepreneurs and business women who knew the field. Every Shark can help with shipping and shes got a huge brand too. Theyll be just as good in the long-run. Its a good and pretty brilliant concept and business run by knowledgeable people, those tend to work out in the end regardless imo.

If you get a research grant, you do not personally get it. You and a small team write the proposal. Some get funded. Most don't. Then the institute you work for gets the money while they pay you a salary. For 5 million, you can expect to get 30ish person years of research. So if the project runs for 2 years, 15 researchers would work on it full time. Probably one of the ideas she got, while working on this project, was to use the protein for food purposes.
