Why is it called St Julians? | Newport, Wales

Talk about wierd coincidence - I’ve fairly recently moved into Newport from Caerleon and I’m 99% sure I saw you crossing by the station when I was moving. I remembered you because you are the spit of a mate of mine but he was Scottish and I think you were wearing WRU top or something - something he’d never do!lol Then in the last couple of weeks have been going down a rabbit hole about Newport’s history and lo and behold it was you! Enjoying your walks around newport. I am in wheelchair so you are doing exactly what I’d love to, and used to do (looking for old things) in Somerset.

Just to let you know for next time there is a shortcut at the start where the green gate is, it's between the 2 buildings on the right, it leads you to Conway Road just behind the one stop shop on Chepstow Road
