Nice one Spudknocker. Learnt a whole lot from this 1 on 1 training video today. I know what Fence in is but did now know what the acronyms are. The target on canopy bow was also visually demonstrated

On Kadena AB around 79' or 80' I was watching two F-4's taking off when the lead AC jettisoned his tanks onto the runway, the second F-4 flying through the flames and smoke. The pilot that jettisoned was either the base commander or wing commander (memory fades) on his final flight. F15's were already there taking over the F-4 rolls. Some good times there on the Rock.

"Especially in a jet engine, your throttle is always going to be moving..." Me: Laughs in A-10C where the throttle is "ON/OFF" practically ;)

Maybe not so relevant at this mission but overall it would be nice if depending on loadout the max-G would be restricted - climbing after bombing dive with full loadout plus fuel sounds like many G´s. But dont know if pilots get over 5 Gs in those maneuvers...And spud: the plane-captain wants to talk with you about the max 7.6 G you pulled in this mission :) - of course just kidding - thx for your awesome DCS footage keeping my enthusiasm for the sim up!!

But one thing i would like to be clearified: I would expect dropping an empty tank which is priced around tens of thousand US-Dollars just be done if any kind of danger shows up - otherwise i would think pilots should bring them home for further usage. But one could say that tens of thousand US-Dollar are peanuts for the navy... EDIT: i realy should watch the video till the end before commenting! U did mention that tanks are not thrown away without need. NICE!

I had the X56 with insane ghost inputs on stick and throttle, u can change input delay time to thousands of a second and it help but throwing it in the pool was a better resolve. Got a warthog hotas love it. Love these videos. My first module in DCS is the A10 , whats better for my next module f16 or f18

Spud, I think I'm picking up most aspects of the F18 fairly well. But for some reason, that radar has become my enemy. I'm basically a sitting duck in a BVR fight. I started with the F16 25 months ago. So I have been able to use the knowledge of the F16 and make it work with the F18. This doesn't seem to work with the radar. I have watched every tutorial on KZbin with little positive gains. My question is, would you be willing to do an evaluation session and see if you can help me?

Did you forget to disengage parking break? Don't get frustrated. Being in my 50's, I really struggled 2 1/2 years ago when I first started getting into DCS. Spud here has some great tutorials as well as several other content creators out there. Stick with it like I did and you'll be super satisfied after you finally get it. Heck, now I'm flying on GS server and rarely get shot down while getting a few kills per flight. Hang in there Crossfire. And Spud, thanks as always for the top notch content. We all really appreciate your vids!!
