too right. people need to understand there ARE valid reasons and stop using the word excuse.(LFC fan). During Covid the reds lost 6 home games in a row. Liverpool & Spurs' net spend over the last few years isn't that far apart, though & a lot of the players Liverpool signed Spurs could've signed them. Obviously there's more to it than that & Liverpool have got some great youth players come through but I think one of the biggest differences is in the recruitment, Liverpool's is excellent, Spurs' is largely wasteful.

We can spend millions on players all we like but if the management changes every other season, theres obviously going to be a big disparity between the two teams. whether youre ange in or out, you cant act like not sticking with a manger throughout these years hasnt affected us greatly, and all I can think about is how this rebuild feels like the beginning of a rebuild and not like another manager coming in and trying to win in a season or two.

Since Ange has arrived there's been quite a few signings, Dragusin for example who wouldn't be playing if it wasn't for injuries or europa league. Solanke is a signing Spurs really needed but they also spent around £100m on teenagers this summer when they should've signed 3 players, Solanke, Éderson from Atalanta & Eze & they weren't unrealistic signings at the time. Not loaned out Solomon, Philips, or Donley & passed on Gray, Bergvall for now, Odobert & the South Korean kid who probably won't play in the first team for years. A club finishing 5th wanting to push on for champions league qualification shouldn't be largely signing for the future, they need players ready now & youngsters like Gray & Odobert weren't cheap.

At least, madder, and Klusevski is one of player who can play certain level. Most of the players are young around the age of 20. We only have rotation at the top and our second choice keeper defence and midfield have to play every game. They are burnt out. Liverpool have a perfect injury free team, are also on fire. And let’s not forget that when we get players back we can probably stop 2 of the goals today. We also scored 3 goals vs the best defence in the prem ! He asks for the press and a particular way of playing. We will not sit back and protect the defence. I’m definitely behind the manager and his philosophy… which is fully To Dare is to Do… but worried about the lack of rotation even with a depleted squad. Spence should have gone back to RB, Destiny in for Porro. Bergvall for Sarr, Timo for Son and Johnson for Madders with Kulu back in the middle. Would have freshened the team and and showed the manager has faith in the players while giving Levy a clear reminder of how thin the squad is as we would probably still have lost.

put into context....to beat this current liverpool side you need a 95% (min) strength full side and you need to play well. Our back 4 + keeper is not good enough BUT is victim of circumstance. Put CR MVD and DU along with GV in goal and you have a much more solid foundation. the subs bench yesterday shows how stretched the squad is. These are excuses and i accept 100% we should NOT be conceding 6 at home but it's not as bad as the media portray. Top 4 is very unlikely so do what other teams do when they are on cup runs and put all the energy into that. We win the carling cup and we are back in the Europa League next season, win the Europa League and we are in the Champions League. That's what i would do anyway. COYFS!!

Conceding 6 at home is not positive . We have conceded 13 goals at home in 3 matches. The defenders have been superb young Archie Gray and Ragusin needed more support from both fullbacks and the midfield. Time and time again left exposed. Can he compete at the highest level, him and solenke? I don't think so . Unfortunately, Spurs' fantastic defence was missing. Solenke needs to learn how to operate outside the box and combine with Sony. Poro and udogi could have made a massive difference. Am not a massive fan of madison .he's not a big games player .

If you know football you would know this guy is punching above his weight at spurs, he can become worldclass but the responsibility he's given at spurs is a bit much, he's not the player to lead rather one that can be a very important part of the puzzle, if he accepts he is actually very average he got the ability to improve but he carries himself like he's won so much but he hasn't, he should start digging in getting yellow cards and all that

Liverpool has been playing this squad 2 games a week because of CL. You have to ask yourself, why not bring in Werner or Johnson to start? Let bergvall have a start. You probably thought before the start of the season that they are good enough rotation players with bergvall being generational. Its funny how the fanbase slagged off Romero but miss him badly.

@@Narodov1 LOL 1- Liverpool only have 2 Players injured while Spurs have a Whole Starting Eleven injured and our entire first team back line as well as playing an 18Yo CM as a CB 2- Liverpool had 3 Days to rest while spurs only had 2 Days 3- We faced Man United while Pool Played Southampton 4-Liverpool have a better squad depth even without Spurs injuries 5-Liverpool rested 7 of their players when they played Southampton meaning they Had 7 DAYS TO REST FOR THIS GAME And we couldn’t even rest our players if we wanted to against United because everyone is injured And the majority of the fan base loves Romero only a minority was chatting rubbish about him
