Ben White had great debut season. He had only a poor debut game (against Ivan Toney, Saliba had an even worse performance v Toney last season at Emirates). White after that poor debut then got Covid with Arsenal going 3 losses in 3 PL games (he didn't play 2/3 games v Chelsea & City) with Arsenal sat bottom of PL. Ben White along with Ramsdale and Odegaard signings elevated Arsenal to a top 4 level team. White at CB allowed Arsenal to play a high line and also build up attacks alot better. His composure on the ball, his ball carrying and long passing from CB took Arsenal to another level. White got injured during back end of the season & missed Spurs top 4 decider game (Holding disaster game), rushed back for Newcastle game not fit as Arsenal threw away top 4. However nobody spoke about Ben White 50m pricetag after his debut season, he justified his signing. Calling his debut season horrible is genuinely stupid.
