In the 19/20 season city did not fall apart. Liverpool were so good they could not be denied. The league was done by christmas. And thats not hyperbole or histrionics. They just won and won and won so many in a row that it was just over. Done. At that point liverpool knew thats what you have to do to beat city. Nearly perfect.
