I had a "white" Russian friend who was born in Siberia and served in the 1st Cav when they were overrun in Korea. He's become a big fan of Putin as if Putin's "saving" Russia. He'd had some big run-ins with KGB agents in San Francisco about 30 years ago but he lashed out at me recently when I made a favorable comment about some guy who appeared on Russian TV wearing pin in his lapel from an opposition group in Russia. I wasn't expecting something like that, but it shows how Putin has some kind of nationalist appeal in some unexpected circles.

Has it occurred to you that she might be naturally gray now and that it is ok not to try to „do“ anything deliberate with one’s hair but to just accept what is? To stand by one age with confidence? She might also live with an elderly parent and therefore not dyed her hair during Covid and the grown to like it so to speak.
