Spyder Industries Head Ache Rack And Rear Hoop Review

As you may know I am currently the CAD Designer/CNC Operator at Spyder Industries. Being so I design head ache racks for a living and finally decided my truck needed one. I could have went crazy with it and took my time and made something truly custom, exotic and original, but I got impatient and just want it on my truck. I made it semi custom and took the tattered flag from as one of Spyder signatures and gave it a twist by inserting a smallmouth bass silhouette on the driver side and a largemouth bass silhouette passenger side into the flags. Also the original spyder tattered flag is black and grey and I brought it too life by making it red, white and blue, on top of that usually the tattered flag is put onto a diamond insert and I put mine into a honey comb insert. I chose honey comb because one its my favorite insert in the line and two my truck has honey along the floor boards and on top of the bumpers, so I kept with theme and matched it. Later on ill design some custom honey comb step treads for when get some Spider steps to match and go along with the honey comb bass theme. (Thats down the road though) My rack and hoop becomes more custom by the mounts made I designed for my rod tubes to bolt in and out of the top of the rack and along side them is oversized lumber stops (horns) to assist holding them in place. I threw some denali signs and logos into my bed rails for more orignality and also to rep my favorite brand of rods, which I thought was appropiate considering the main reason I even got these was for hauling my rods around. (Hope that made sense) I am currently designing bolt in style kayak mounts also sense i have such a short bed on my truck its a pain to haul around a kayak let alone two. I threw some grab handles on rear hoop to help getting my short legs up into my lifted truck, usually they don't come with handles especially the ram box style bed rails because they aren't as stabilized as normal stake mounted rear hoops. Lastly I added two 10" LED bars into my honey comb insert for better visabilty backing my boat into the water.
