For me as a proud owner of a pair of small hands, the Delica is just perfect. Never leaves my pocket, and has lived there for many years, and the washers can fend off my pocket lint quite well ;) So light one forgets it even there. Likes VG-10 since it folds up/rolls if damaged rather than chip.

When my friend first showed me his Delica, I thought it was rather funny looking. I have now been carrying one for over 10 years. I have the stainless version, like his. Since then I've developed a love for Spyderco, buying several other models, including several of the Byrd line. Just recently ordered a Tenacious and Manix2 for the collection. The Tenacious might replace the Delica for EDC.

A note about VG-10, the designer of this knife Sal Glesser of Spyderco respects oldschool VG-10 so much that he recently came out with his own powdered custom steel based on VG-10 which combines the excellent properties of VG-10 with some improvements from the S-30v/S35-45vn. CPM SPY27. This has been excellent for me and I would rather see this in a knife than S45vn, m390 etc.

It’s a darn good knife imho . I ve used mine so much over the years and it lives in my carrhart coat pocket . It has two washers so when I took apart a native 5 lightweight and seen no washers I was bummed but it’s still good too .

It is an oddball again today with all of the (actually very well done) Chinese knives with hq materials on Amazon. But there is something about the design, the blade, the handle, and the durability over time (they have HQ improved these for a long time) that makes this the actual knife for most people still.

I wear an XL glove and the Endura fits in my hand perfectly. I prefer it over my Benchmade Osborne.
