Kudos to Spyderco to have a compact blade with a "full" grip handle ratio. I like it.

Agreed. Seems to be very capable even at this size

Now that's it's going to be available in 15v, an undeniable winner.

Thanks man! I know it’s not fancy but it’s at least my attempt at an honest review coming from a common poor dude 😂

Yeah man I do agree it’s a bit high. If I wasn’t a Janich fan it would be harder to swallow. But it just being my second purchase of the year, felt I could spoil myself

love your channel bro , just subscribed. for me the yojimbo 2 is the best one. not keen on the shape of the micro, that's just me. similar to not liking the shape of the para 3 compared with the pm2. thanks for sharing though.

Nice looking knife. Spyderco is my favorite. How much did this one cost?
@KnifeNinjaEDC10 ай бұрын
Around $180.

I’m gonna end up buying all the yojimbos but which should I get first. The yojimbo or the microjimbo
@KnifeNinjaEDC9 ай бұрын
Can’t go wrong with either tbh

@@KnifeNinjaEDC I eventually want them all but need help choosing what’s first. Also between the manix 2 in m4 green handle black blade

If you're going to carry it for just EDC tasks like cutting cardboard and slicing through materials then the MicroJimbo. I have a couple of Spydercos I use to cut packaging (cardboard and plastic) at a retail store. They have full flat grinds on the blade and work well. I have heard reviewers compare slicing through cardbard and other packaging materials being easier with the full flat grind of the MicroJimbo than the hollow grind of the Yojimbo or Yojumbo. Also the size of the MicroJimbo makes it a lot more public friendly in case you have to cut something and there might be a person scared of knives around (if that matters to you). If ease of cutting through various materials is not as much of a factor then whichever one is on sale atm I'd say.

Tony Kim your trying to get me to buy another knife😂

Haha! I’d say at the very least if they ever come up for a good deal on the secondary, give it a shot. If I wasn’t a fan of Janich, not sure I’d have spent the ~$180 for it.

Awesome video but the Spyderco I reviewed was not even close to the same quality as yours.
@KnifeNinjaEDC9 ай бұрын
Oh wow what kind of issues did you have with yours? Mine was a bit stiff out the box but centering was good. Can’t speak on factory sharpness as I sharpened it right out the box haha. They were a tad uneven
