You want to really excite your Spydy fans?....it's not that hard; put a finger choil and a deep carry pocket clip on Delica 4 and call it a Delica 5. Add a few new colors and watch how many you sell. That's what we really want.

+joe thiziznotreal funny you said that. I actually bought a Meadowlark 2 FFG FRN, over a Delica. I really like the ergonomics. But the fit and finish is not at good as my Spydercos, plus I have to settle for 8cr13mov as opposed to VG10, ZDP 189, or now Hap40 which looks really cool. That Meadowlark just made we want a Spydy version even more👍

The Sage 5 will be my favorite Spyderco ever. I love the Sage 2 and carry it almost every day. Now if the Sage 5 came in a premium super steel, it would probably be one of the all time best EDC knives in the world.... Come on Spyderco!

Love Spydies, used to have a 40 knife rare spydie collection before I sold them, I have recently bought some of the newer and updated models that were and always will be my favs. Back in the early 2000's I photoshopped their logo onto pics of my spydies and put them on the Spydie forum, this resulted in Sal putting them on his knives ever since :)

3:40 That Introvert would be one hell of a utility knife due to the finger hole and blade angle. If someone has to constantly cut stuff I could see that being great. Also really cool that Spyderco went ahead and used a design that some guy mailed in as a pinned together prototype.

i want that pattada, and the rubicon is 10/10 now, the introvert looks interesting. reminds me of that kabar. also how hard is it to take the spydie hole off the tighestick and flush the spine with the handle, incorporate a tiny hole and a flipper? it's too big for me anyway but it would look way better

Great stuff. That little Italian is a beauty. I like the Introvert too. I'm very curious how it works with the flipper + backlock in the same knife. The only backlock flipper knives I've seen before are those SOG ones, where the flipper passes through a hole in the lockbar.

I love my original rubicon. It is my most expensive knife to date and well worth the purchase in my opinion.

that Oroboris would actually be a Really great knife if it was just Tweaked just slightly and then stretched out to be a bit longer and the blade was outstretched just a bit longer and given a small sharpening choil before the finger choil for both proper sharpening and to protect the finger from getting cut while in the choil and it would look better.

I really wish the Sage 5 would be sporting real CF vs the CF laminate/G-10. I know it would increase the price some, but I really don't see the point in the laminate. Either make it CF, or just G-10...just my 2¢. Loving my Mantra btw.

The Ouroboros looks interesting...but personally though, I would have liked to see an older Chad Los Banos design being suped-up; remember the Lava from a few years back? A mega-sized Lava would really be excellent IMO.

No introduction of the completed production model of the Nirvana. Looked like Sal Glesser had the same concept model next to him. I've had my preorder in for awhile. Spyderco had emailed me, that it'd be released between January & March. Maybe, it's the next ZT 777.

I actually really like that first little Italian made Sardinia knife from there Ethnic series. they've always had neat interesting knives in that lineup. the "introvert" looks like a goofy little knife but I can really see the point and wood probably be really super useful with the abilities it provides when using it in a specialized application, like the dexterity of being able to hold on to it while still using your fingers. but that little Bob Lum was great.

I wish Spyderco would come out with strong, simple large knives using the compression lock. A lot of the knives shown here strike me as fantasy or art knives. I know they are made well, but the extreme styling is not pleasing to the eye and increases manufacturing cost.

+amo757 I honestly do not know why they don't utilize the Compression Lock in more of their knives. It's a great locking mechanism that most people love. Hell, they're the ones who designed it and have a patent on it.

I love Spyderco, but I hate the damn wire clip. I find myself having to take the clip off every week or two and bending it back because it always gets caught on random stuff and bending open/loose. I finally just took the clip of my dragonfly and carry it in my pocket rather than clipping it inside my pocket. I wish someone would make an after market clip or spyderco would redesign the clip to something similar to the delica or paramilitary style clip.

I liked the little Lum too but spyderco not needs to break away from the cheap steel liners with G-0 and vg-10 steel. It's getting old.
