Really like having the perspective of both a mans hands and a womans hands, you guys have given some great reviews and showcases of knives and have SERIOUSLY influenced my wifes purchases... she almost bought a Spyderco Police 4 until she realized how big it was (Got a para 3 instead.) Ofcourse feeling left out I had too bite the bullet and cough up the cash for a Military knife in CPM S110V... the rumors of how hard they are too sharpen are over-blown, but it is very noticeably harder to sharpen then regular s30v or s35vn. As a lefty I thoroughly enjoy the aspect that you handle the knives with your left hand (even though you’re not a lefty). One of my top questions when looking at literally any knife, is how it’ll truly work for a lefty. Most “ambidextrous” knives don’t take into account ergos, clip placement, deployment, AND closing. It’s seems like most companies take 2 or 3 of those and then say they’ll work for lefties. Please never stop doing that because it’s extremely rare to find a left handed oriented review/video.

i really like the para 2 but i gave mine to a friend...and since the price went up the sage 5 looks good. i do like big blades so the police and military are my favorites. wish i got one of those reeve lock military's when they were being discounted. i just got a cs 4max scout aaaaaand its so ridiculous...i love it

I prefer the Sage 5 over the para 3 simply because the para has a larger thumb ramp that doesn't feel as good in my hands.

Frankie I'm sooo sad! I just placed my first order with Blade HQ, for the first Spyderco in my collection(I know a lot of firsts here LOL.) Instead of one, I ended up with two. A Sage 5 lightweight and a bright orange Dragonfly 2. Both of which I like a lot by the way. When it was time to checkout I requested a Frankie Bird drawing in the comment box and proceeded to clear a prominent space on my fridge, but when they arrived I was heartbroken. No the knives were fine, excellent specimins, but my Frankie Bird was a black and white photocopy of a drawing instead of a real one. In that one moment my world came crashing down around me and I realized all I ever really wanted was a Frankie Bird. Just wanted to share something from the heart. Love the vid's and just to let you know, the Spyderco's seem to be helping with the healing process. Say hi to Bird for me. ~M

The Sage 1 and 5 are not carbon fiber. They are CF/G-10 laminate,which is essentially G-10 with a CF sticker. I'm assuming you guys do know that 😉

I know this is like swearing in church but i really can´t get into Spydercos. They are ( in my opinion) overpriced, bulky in the pocket and has bad "edge to handle ratio". I have tried to like them but no.... There is so many knife brands out there thats better for me. Personal favorite is Moki but thats just shows my age i guess... Great video from these guys as always.

The regular Sage 5 is probably my favorite Spyderco. The "lightweight" is only .35 oz. lighter, not a noticeable difference like the Para 3. It's just an FRN Sage 5, but there's no hype in that.🤑
