Thanks. Glad you mentioned about the 8cr steel on the original. I was looking at a resilience which I think has the same steel and thought I could do better steel wise. Currently looking at a Manly Peak maybe. Nice range of steels. No sharpening choil wouldn’t be issue for me but the big step up to the blade edge I don’t like personally. Like the colour though. Again thanks for showing it.

Here in Europe it costs 110€, and standart Tenacious about 60€, so double the price. But i really like this model, i love slicey knives.. So I will probably buy the "premium" version. By the way, I don't think you mentioned that Tenacious with S35VN has a ceramic detent 👌😏

I'm sorry for the late response, I just noticed your comment now. I really like my Tenacious lightweight and carry it everyday. I've used it a lot for all sorts of daily cutting tasks and only after dropping it accidentally tip straight down onto my driveway, has it begun to dull. I now need to sharpen it, which up until this point, it still had the factory edge on it and only required stropping to keep the edge maintained. As far as carrying this knife in Quebec, I really cannot recommend any legal advice to you about that. You'll need to research your own local laws regarding carrying knives and such. Perhaps reach out to a local lawyer? I wish I could give you a better answer. Anyway, thanks very much for your comment. Cheers!

Have you taken it apart? Mine only had 2 washer unlike older model one which had 4 total.

Thanks for your question. No, I have not taken it apart. As I mentioned in the video, there are some differences between the original and the new one; I didn't fully elaborate on them all since I hadn't done a complete and full break down of the knife prior to filming the video. I've now owned this knife for about 5 months and carried it everyday, I've only had to sharpen it once so far and no other maintenance has been required since. If that changes, I may do an update video if I ever had to take it fully apart for some reason. For the record, I don't normally dismantle my knives, unless I have a good reason to do so...
