SPYI is like JEPI before it was cool. There's a lot of opportunity in being an early investor for ETFs as long as you fully understand the prospectus. As someone who was somewhat early in JEPI in 2021 I think it has a chance to be a billion dollar fund as long as they perform well

I just dumped both my JEPI and my JEPQ for SPYI. Tracks the index better, better capital appreciation, dividends only vary by a couple pennies, and the dividend is higher than either JEPI or JEPQ at a cheaper price! What’s not to like?

I just checked (10 months after this video) and the net assets are currently showing $1,259,614,827. That's some amazing growth from only $84,000,000! I feel this fund will always perform well as long as the stock market (S&P 500) goes up or sideways, which is most of the time. If a black swan appears, just sell it since it's not based on growth and there should be little capital gains tax.

Look at the total return chart of SPYI vs SPY and they are nearly identical. It doesn't seem to matter if the market is up, down, or sideways, the return of SPYI is very similar to the underlying index. Unless you need the income now, you might as well buy SPY with the much lower expense ratio
