3:00 some maybe is Mig-17, but is blurry enough so Mig-15 is a good guess. 4:00 its probably An-12. Il-38 is too modern for North Korea (they not purchasing modern aircraft for 5+ years). 6:15 the resolution too blurry. No personal guess here 8:20 Mig-21 or Chinese copy of Mig-21 (J-7). Could be Su-7 with some weird angle. 10:40 its An-2, the angle make it look more like monoplane. They have around 200 in service. 11:50 Mi-2? Must be it. Idk any other soviet triblade chopper. Edit: you could be correct, Mi-4 is also triblade, and NK have some. 12:30 Mig-21 or J-7. 12:45 Mig-15 or Mig-17. 12:53 you're correct. The one and only, Su-25 Frogfoot. 13:05 yeah Mig-29 with some Il-28 on the side of it. 16:20 yeah another An-2 base. 19:10 could be SK F-16, also could be FA-50. I don't have anything to measure the size though 20:15 could be SK F-5. I'm not sure its still in service 13:38 Afaik no Tu-14 on NK. At around the 11 minute mark, those prop planes are trainers. It costs a lot less to run those, so they are also used to keep up proficiency. The jets are flown very sparingly. The long nosed plane that looks like an F104 is probably an SU-15. The Soviets were known in the late cold war era to give NK the retired, obsolete, or less desirable of their aircraft.

It is a light combat version of the T-50 Golden Eagle supersonic advanced jet trainer and light attack aircraft. I used to do this all the time with Google Earth. A interesting base is right by Saratov, Russia. Russian Strategic bomber base Engels-2, mostly TU-95 and TU-160 bombers. Plus a outdoor museum next to it with various older bombers and various aircraft. As for North Korea, most of their older aircraft like MiG-17s, MiG-19s, and IL-28s are Chinese copies, same with most of their MiG-21s. But they do have some proper Soviet MiG-21s. The props are probably Yak-11s and Yak-18s. There's one airbase I saw in North Korea that has a bunch of AN-2s but also what looked to be C-47 Dakota's. These were probably Il-12s or even Li-2s.

Looking at all the longbody Cargo's and more obscure Props in this video really reminded me of the _sheer variety_ of aircraft we used to see flying over.. I can even remember how fkn *loud* some of those rear engine Cargo Planes were, and the streaking exhaust 😂 Sky looks and sounds completely different these days... uniformity, like.. Never really thought about it before... of all videos I did not expect a nostalgia hit from, satellite imagery of N.Korean Airbases is right up there lol Thanks Phriend ❤🇬🇧

Well not many air forces really park their fighters, bombers or attack aircraft out in the open, except for large or medium transport planes. For fighters they usually store them in hangers or park them under a roof spaces, so the satelites or aerial cameras won't see if the aircraft are there or not.

I play RB, and ive reached the PT-76B along with the T-34/57. I get 1-4 kills each game. Ive noticed that extremely many of my controls, especially in Air battles are unassigned, and im unsure what every one of them do. I cant seem to find a video where you show all your controls and keybinds. If you have made one, would you link it for me? If you haven’t made one, id really love to see one! PS! Mini Phly is so cute! Love from Norway.

Trust me dude, phly is the last guy to ask about key bindings and stuff. If you really want to know what certain buttons do then search reddit for answers or ask questions. There are good youtubers out there like hunter that do tutorials on how to set key bindings for stuff like ccip bombing and so on. And btw most buttons literally are so specific that 99.99% of the vehicles cant even use them, so they are pretty unnecessary when it comes to air rb. I am playing this game since 7 years and still didnt figure out 60% of the key bindings and i am still an above average player

Whatever happened to playing the P-51C-10 like how Bomber990 asked for for a total of 200 days? You teased in your video, released Aug 1 about the P-51D-5, that you would play the P-51C-10 to "show them a little trick you learned" but that Bomber990 would need to wait a little. You weren't satisfied with the loadout the C-10 had available to it for Ground RB and felt the D-5 would make for a more interesting video. There's no denying the air-to-air rocket kills were satisfying (especially set to the DOOM music "The Only Thing They Fear Is You" in your intro), but I have no doubt you can strike fear into the hearts of your enemies regardless of what vehicle/loadout you choose. I feel the name of the DOOM song is apt in conveying this when you consider that other War Thunder players are probably more scared to see YOU on the enemy team than whatever fear they feel when they see what vehicle you're in. In other words, no matter what you bring in to a battle, your name strikes fear into the hearts of all who recognize it. Play the P-51C-10!! Day 1
