I remember seeing an old Vortex TAS that showed the 'battle' with Jacques being completely skipped using a fool to proxy - is this still a TAS only strategy or is the community looking to implement this?

What determines whether the numbers are bright green or dull green?

Bright green means I'm ahead of my pb, and I saved time on that current split Dull green means I'm ahead of my pb, and I lost time on that current split

@@gnbman ​ I can stay ahead of my PB, while still losing time on an individual split. For example I was ahead of my PB by 12.5 seconds leaving Terrace Village. However in the next split misty bog, I lost about 1.3 seconds. This means I'm still ahead of my PB by 11.2, but I lost time on the misty bog split itself.

Dayoman primarily plays 120%, and any%. He has done a couple of one off vortex runs in the past, but has never grinded it seriously.

The goal of the category is to exit all of the end of level vortex's. By doing rat proxy, we would be skipping the Gnorc Cove, and Twilight Harbor vortex's!

The goal of Vortex, is not to get the collectables. We enter the "Unlock All Levels" cheat built into the game, so we can focus purely on exiting the end of level vortex's. If we didn't do this, the run would look strikingly similar to any% where you need 6000 gems, 50 dragons, and 5 eggs, except we would happen to leave out of the vortex's. By not focusing on collectables it allows us to do all of the crazy tricks you see in this run, and showcase a completely unique category!
