The skill point is to hit him period. You can actually climb up to him and flame him up close to get the job done. Oh, and you can do the same for the Crush fight.

I think he let Ripto get some orbs just to show his abilities, because some orbs were easily catchable and yet he didn't even try to go for them. Either way, he most definitely makes some mistakes from time to time, even if at the first time playing the game.

These boss battles look a lot easier than those in the original...I don't know why Crush is running towards spyro after he moves over one of those attack circles instead of away from him, and the splash damage from gulp's lasers is so small compared to the original it looks hard to be hit by them...same with Ripto's fireballs.

Honestly, I think the worst part is that Ripto has a lot less health in his first two forms. He’s the final baddie and his ability to take punishment kinda encourages toying around with the Orb power-ups you want to use on him. What’s the point if you can just Fireball spam twice and be done with it?

I played all three of these games from this whole trilogy in Dutch twice and no! I’m not Dutch I’m English! I just like learning Dutch! 😃😃😃🇳🇱🇳🇱🇳🇱 And I think I can confirm, the dialog is mostly the same as the English dub but they do occasionally say some things a little different! I.E instead of Spyro saying; “Hold your horns!” He just says exactly what he means! I think.
