I wish I could say i had memories on this game :c but I only had them on the first one. When I got ripto's rage it was scratched to high hell and it wouldn't even load the first cut scene, thanks for making this video! so that I know what I missed out on.

I had forgotten how much I loved Spyro, it's what got me into gaming. I miss games like this so much. I wish they would remake it, like keep everything in it the same, just touch up the graphics a bit, then release it for the current systems. That would make my year for gaming.

Well, if you think about it, Gateway to Glimmer makes quite a bit of sense. Look at it this way: The Professor, Elora and Hunter (mainly the Professor), made the portal that first transported Spyro to Avalar. And if you think about it, a portal is a kind of gateway. The portal that Spyro just happened to come through into Glimmer sort of acted as an unofficial 'Gateway to Glimmer'.

It's not even bad; remember that PS1 game resolutions were from 256×224 to 640×480 maximum. This video looks great.

Aside from doing that jump from the gem, you can also access the indoor orb by using the powerup from the outdoor orb. Just go through the window and hug the wall when you get inside because when you use the outdoor powerup, it goes down really fast.

FourSwordsLord !! So in Spyro 2..the game tells you 100% and you're done..? Odd, I've read Spyro 3 tells you 117% and then you're done. I finally beat out Spyro 1. 120%. A magnificent debut. But of course I was following the speedrun. Cheers !!
