Nearly every Spyro bassline uses the same three notes in order, just in different rhythms. I don't know how he does it, but Copeland seems to provide so much in each track with such a simple motif. To sum up, every bassline is an absolute BANGER.

It's no surprise when you know the composer, Stewart Copeland, was the drummer for the band "Police". As co-composer with his two cohorts in the band, he helped compose the percussion and baseline for many of their songs. It shows in the quality of the ambience the songs create.

Absolutely legendary series of games, the music in the original Spyro trilogy, in my opinion, is some of the best video game music ever composed. There's a reason people still talk about these games all these years later.

That's probably because Stewart Copeland used Distorted reality 1and 2, which is a sample library. Specifically 2 for that crank sound loop. I'm sure Michael used it for "I Cant Make it" as well maybe, it was a popular sound library in the 90's, which is still available to buy even in today's time.

One of my favorite stages from this game. With this music and everything else, it really created a distinctive atmosphere. Too bad the stage itself was pretty short and easy to completely clear. :(

Spyro 2 in every aspects is better than 1st game.Especially in music.BTW if someone is curious what genre it is it's trip-hop. You can hear it in Silent Hill)) Insomniac used electronic music again in Ratchet & Clank 1 but then stopped using it. It's so cool and has unique atmosphere
