I am having the exact same experience as when i was a kid i smashed my PlayStation in 1998 in frustration because i could not pass the Sunny flight level and it looks like exactly 20 years later im going to be smashing my PS4 in 2018 because i can't pass the damn Sunny Flight level all over again guess history apparently does repeat itself.

For those who struggle with gliding here’s some hot tips: Actually hold down jump for a second rather than tapping it, it makes a huge difference in the height you get. Try jumping while charging at the same time then glide at the top of your jump, you’ll get further range. Practice over and over again hitting glide at the very top of your jump. Do this on the ground rather than from a ledge where you’ll waste time and lives. Make sure both Spyro and the camera are facing the exact direction you want to go. Adjusting direction mid flight shortens your range. Hope this helps.

The reason why people struggle with this part is because from "Return home" teleport platform it feels very feasable to jump and glide to where the key is, when it reality, it's pretty much impossible. I think they should have modified the level design so that people would pointlessly stop trying it over and over again from "Return home" teleport platform.

On replay of this game, I completely forgot about this classic jape. Somehow made it to that weird platform once, but didn't realize that was how to get to that platform where the last dragon was. The infuriating thing is even if you DO see the platform and go to it, the area you need to get to the last dragon is around a blind corner with no way of telling that it's even there. If you went for the obvious platforms you'd miss the key and the remaining gems and dragon.
