ya. I tried this on PS5 but couldn't stand the 30fps that felt even more jittery than it should. So I bought it on PC. Much better. The consoles can definitely do 60, but apparently they arnt gonna patch it.

What? Lmao to whom? Yourself? I've played the original trilogy beaten the original trilogy to completion literally thousands of times throughout 24 years (actually 21 to be technical) and obviously I've beaten the remaster a bunch, I have no clue what you're talking about the levels have always been small its a ps1 platformer reguardless if you pick the remaster or the original its the same size , the map makes it easier to see the layout that's it.

@@saltyishere9152 you being able to just, see the entire map, breaks the illusion. without a map, you wouldn't know how large the world is, you don't know where it starts or where it ends, you don't know how far off you are from the goal. that makes the world feel like it is endless, running through an open field feels so free and exploring this mystical world feels so magical. it feels almost real. amd the way all the worlds connect with each other truly amplifies this feeling. whilst, with a map, you can see exactly where you are, you can see where everything is, you can see the boundaries of the world and where it ends. it just, breaks this feeling. of course, because you've replayed these games millions of times and you've memorized the layout of everything, this would not apply to you. just, imagine playing this game for the first time, it would be a completely different experience.

Probably scaled up to 4k from 1080p at 30-60Hz as it is a PS4 version game on a PS5. I heavly doubt you run it at 120Hz. HDR was already a supported feature on the OG PS4. But yes, PS4 games on a PS5 shines better in quality in every way.

Its locked at 1440p 30fps on console. As far as I know there is no HDR support for this game on any platform either. Apparently it does support Auto HDR on Xbox and PC, but it doesn't work well when I tried it. So just no HDR. I did end up getting this game on PC cause I couldn't stand the 30fps lock. Hopefully they patch the console versions for 60fps. Probably not.
