something about the textures, the brightness and saturated colors of the original still makes the original more comfy to me. Probably just be nostalgia but this feels more like endless rolling hills of perfect grass. More like a dream than a real place.

Just found a copy of this in mint condition on eBay for £20. Original black label, instruction manual in perfect condition and still smells new, disk with out a single mark on the surface, and jewel case never seen sunlight. Even has the 'Winter Releases '98' disk in the sleeve. Couldn't be happier. I'm treasuring this for the rest of my life. I wish I could go back to my 8 year old self, and tell myself off for not taking better care of my games when I was younger. I did have this game but scratched the hell out of the first copy I had as a kid.

@TECpeds94 As far as I know all PS3's do play PSone games. I haven't heard of a model that didn't. That's why the console has a feature that makes PS1 games look smoother, the internal PS1 memory card creation thing and a PlayStation Store full of PS1 games you can download and play. It's the PS2 games that only very few PS3 models can play.

Mine got struck by lightning and I was really young when I played this game and I played it so much that I think it's too scratched up or something because it only loads the beginning part where spyro flies around and stuff and just plays the audio for the background, never loads the menu. @extrememonaXXX actually if they remake it it will gose exclusivly to ps3 via psn or psp or ps vita well you see these first 3 spyro games where made by insomnic games the ones who made ratchet & clank series for the ps2 and ps3 and the ones who made the resistance series on the ps3 and also all the 3 spyro games where all published by sony them self's so i think insted of been on the 360 it will be on the ps3 and insted of been a 3DS it will be on the new ps vita or the PSP.

With PlayStation, the problem is usually the bios files. The bios files in the consoles are what should prevent the games from being pirated, and it's illegal to distribute the bios files. It's also illegal to have the bios files if you don't own the original console. I guess the emulators couldn't be distributed with the bios files so freely so you have to donwload them separately. N64 and some other consoles don't have bios files.
