Well I wouldn't say it like that as there are plenty of fans of Spyro even today who don't mind waiting for whenever Spyro gets a remake/remaster. People had been asking for one for Crash since 2009 lol But yes it would make sense for him to get the remaster/remake now after the booming success of the N. Sane Trilogy

Impressive that you were able to find that first Spyro mobile game! How come you didn't assign and individual score for each game though?

it would be far too conflicting with my comments, for example: Spyro: Ripto's Quest is a really short, yet fun and faithful experience: 2/10. See how that just doesn't work? And again, I mostly had positive things to say about 2/3 LoS titles yet they were technically worse than Ripto's Quest so... they get 1/10? Despite them getting more positive feedback due to expectations being lower. I will/can score most things and justify their place but mobile titles, it just doesn't work for a video at least. Though if you wanted scores: Spyro Exen - 1/10 Ripto's Quest - 2/10 Spyro the Dragon - 2/10 LoS New Beginning - 1/10 LoS Eternal Night - 2/10 LoS Dawn of the Dragon - 1/10 Just based on that, you can see how ANY positive comment just wouldn't work in this video, followed up with a score.

Square Eyed Jak It's almost as if women want less "dress up", "makeup" and "princess/fairy/unicorn" games and just... more playable female characters for the games already out there as they are. I mean, I'm glad Coco has a bit more presence in the Crash remakes, but in my opinion Cynder was the saving grace of the Legend trilogy. You don't have to slap frilly dresses on everything. I don't get why marketers don't understand this.

Square Eyed Jak actually, you know what Jak? I kinda feel that's the way of the Spyro series in general. The series almost feels like it can easily appeal to girls with the cutesy cartoony kid-like art style, the cutscenes (sorta), the gameplay, and even Cynder being a main character in the LOS subseries of games, as well as the feminine-ish colors in the art style of those games

Haha this was a great review and extra kudos to your editing skills with the physics of that cursed Nokia phone. I think that the spirits of Spyro knew what you did to Enter the Dragonfly and were like "NO! Not this time!" Haha. Anyway, I had no idea that there were Spyro games on mobile but then again, I never paid attention to mobile games to begin with. But at any case, it's good to see that the last three didn't totally destroy you. Anyway, great review!

I myself have been looking for that first Mobile Spyro game for a really long time too. scouring tons of Java script websites, mobile game archive websites, old news articles...you get the point. So when you finally told of a place to find it I was shocked. so I went to deviantart, looked up rickyg with the correct capitalizations and numbers in place, only for the links to no longer work. Was I the only one who felt TLoS was any good? If nothing else, it was a nice little beat-'em-up. Sure, it isn't a platformer, but as someone who's never had the chance to play the originals, it was a solid 6/10 series. I found myself actually coming back to it occasionally, even having fun.
