Lol those damned bushes caused me to not want to beat that level and had my dad do it for me lol. the only other time i ever required my dad help me through a section of a game was sneaking past the wolves in Metal gear solid when following Meryl towards the Sniper wolf fight. Funny what was considered scary to us as kids that you look back on now and just laugh!

The spyro soundtrack makes really good use of it's main theme leitmotif in almost every song and I love it. The combination of percussion, guitars, and the occasional organ with electronic instruments creates such a unique atmosphere

The dogs in the Toasty stage were always a pain. Even playing this recently, positioning yourself so you can flame the dogs and back off without getting hit is difficult.

Run at them and when you're just in range flame them then keep running under them as they jump over you. Circle round in a wide arc and come at them again this time toasting them for good. In short, keep yourself moving. For ones in difficult positions i.e. the dog on the tight ledge I rolled right, flamed him, rolled left as he jumped at me and repeated to get rid of him

+Jordan Bickelmann Hi, I know it's been a year but Spyro never gets old ;) Let me give you some advice for this : -You can burn the dog once, press L1 or R1 (left or right side roll), then just be ready to burn the dog again. Sometimes the dodge isn't enough, it's safer to do it while slightly turning on the sides, then turn around. Or, you can hold L1 and R1 and Spyro will do two side rolls. -This one is a little bit more risky. Get Spyro in range, close but not too much. Then just get him to burn the dog two times in a row without the latter even having enough time to jump on you. Works wonders! You'd have to press O quickly enough. I don't know if you can play the game at this time, but you definitely should try it, for your childhood's sake! Always down to talk about this marvelous game :D

This music was the thing that scared me when I was younger. Not the dogs, not the shepherds, not Toasty. It was so quiet, atmospheric, and it just fit so well. Once I started warming up to the stage, I had made it take so long that the cheerful part came on and that made me run out of the room!! Then that one glitch where the music changed happened and it made me feel better
