brucifer The new Spyro collection is remake, not a remaster. There’s a difference. A remaster would be taking the original PS1 games and improving the visuals and performance as much as possible, which wouldn’t be by that much for PS1. The new collection on PS4 is completely remaking the trilogy from scratch.

Ok since no one here knows the difference, let me explain. The New Reignited Trilogy is a REMAKE not a REMASTER. A remaster would be taking the original PS1 trilogy and improving the visuals and performance as much as reasonably possible, which would be much with the PS1 games. The Reignited Trilogy is a complete remake of the trilogy from the ground up, completely from scratch. There. Now you know.

There was and the announcement was suppose to be last week but the news was spreading too fast and the level of excitement was over the roof so Activision had to push it back to supposedly today or sometime later this week.
