SQUAD 44 - LOW FPS / SSGI BUG FIX

The SSGI implementation is horribly broken in the game. It cuts performance in half yet gives you very little difference in scenes. Half of the buildings and vehicles won't show any new shadow effects on them, and those that do it looks horrid. I just keep it turned off.

Yeah it definitely smashes performance. I think the difference is subtle but definitely noticeable, not so much when running around in battle but if you stop and compare scenes you can really notice the difference in building interiors for example. For most people definitely not worth the huge performance loss it causes. I just hope they make like a pop up warning or something when you try and turn it on, because even kick arse computers struggle with it and it's not going to be a good first impression for new players if they are only getting 30FPS on a relatively good PC because of it.

I'm having an issue with the terrain shuttering black it's pretty annoying

i have a really good PC, yet every graphics setting i try i end up getting severe stuttering whenever i try and move my camera around, do you think this could be causing that?

Stuttering can be caused by heaps of different things, are you running the game off a HDD ? I once made the mistake of accidently installing the game on my backup HDD instead of my SSD and my game ran so bad despite my PC being a beast. Probably not your problem but I thought id throw it out there anyway just in case. Sorry I cant help more, if you go to the official discord you can get some support over there.

Let me know if you ever get this issue fixed. I'm having the same problem and I've messed with every single setting I can think of and nothing makes a difference. The game is unplayable for me.

I get sutteribg and a ghost effect on player models all the time. Super annoying

Bought the game and logged on and I can see any servers no matter what I click any advice?

You can try this, first open: %localappdata%\PostScriptum\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor open "Engine.ini" with editor of your choice Add thefollowing lines and save: [OnlineSubsystem] PollingIntervalInMs=100 (edited)

Hey mate, there is no "Spawn" button for Arnhem Range, if you double click on the yellow spawn point on the map you will spawn in.
