Settings work great for my pc. 5800x3d with 3070ti, was getting 65-90 depending on map, people, explosions, etc... Now getting 120+ consistently and upwards of 140 with 110fov. Also have the nvidia control panel setup as well

I've got a r5 5600x 16 gb of ram an rtx 2080 super and the game is installed on an ssd yet i still struggle to get 60 fps whether it's on high or low.

@@gitgudplayz7749 i have R5 5600, 32gb ram and rtx 2060 6 gb, and i usually got more then 100 frames, you definetly can have way more frames, optymize nvidia panel, with your specs go for shadows on medium, textures on medium and evrything else on lov/off, this shoud help let me know

I woud not suggest upgrading if Ur not planning to use vr or Play 1440p, rtx 2060 is good even for vr gamea, i personally play dcs on vr with many jets, il 2 sturmovik, and many other games and its fine, evrything is good as long as you optymize nvidia and game settings, if Ur planning to Play 2k or use vr i woud suggest definetly going for rx not rtx, i studied both and even tho i like rtx, RX has just way better performance for better price, look at RX 6700 10gb with 3 fans, or RX 6750 XT 12gb, they are increrebly good and you will never need to upgrade

I got a RTX 4090 OC + i9 10900 KF, SSD Samsung 1TB, and 32GB 3200M/hz RAM, if i set anything at Ultra with DLSS 3, and 3K Resolution i just get Maximum 96 fps and it Lowers often to 40fps. What im Tryna say, horrible optimation, But still a Great Game

idk what your issue is but i have a 2060 and i get like a 60+ boost on performance with dlss and high quality i get 23+ fps boost and i average around 120 with boost and 70 80 ish with quality

@@C2NEAT gamę is not that optymized as long as you also optymize your nvidia panel, i get your point but still anything over 60 fps is good becouse they are games like Arma reforger where with lovest settings best you can get is around 70 fps

@@OperatorAron Oh i have lowest settings trust me. I get around 30-40fps in heavy combat. Its just annoying that I get 100fps chilling at main base but when I'm actually getting shot at i get 40fps. I cant win a gunfight when they have fps advantage. I've reset my pc and have done everything and nothing fixes it.

I have never ever seen someting like it, i truly have no idea, my only guess is that your fps is locked in nvidia control panel, or ingame, remember to check fps ingame not in menu coz its always locked at 60, if you sruggle with fps textures, shadows, and effects quality have huge impact on persormance so keep it in mind

Yup, plus I dunno why but this game makes huge backups on my win driver and when I delete em all my settings are gone.. like... how am I supposed to do anything if my C drive get so abused I cant even get nvidia updates.. shit once took 130gb. Kept just the last one to see if it saves settings but no..

@OperatorAron random fps drops only started the past couple of days I run at like 180fps max settings then drops to under 30 for like 5 seconds only thing I can think of is heat but the temps seem good.

If you will optymize nvidia Control panel, and set ingame settings to lov,, textures on medium and Play with shadows settings, i woud ecpect you to have +100 fps on averge. I have rtx 2060 6gb, ryżem 5 5600 4.2gzh, 32 gb 1080p and i have stable 120/130

So just a head up. I just bought this game on steam, the game is indeed badly optimized but what saved me was playing the game on dx12 with dlss set to dlaa or quality. As soon as you swith to dlss the game looks better and runs better with little to no lag!/stutter. Dx 11 i believe produces less frames. I guess dx12 is better on high end gpus I believe which is surprising I set everything to epic with dx12 and dlaa restarted the game and played the game with 0 lag and very minor stutters(1 or 2 stutter only) it was a great experience

No its opposite and i know for fact becouse I tested it and my friend tested ir dx 12 is worst optymized in any game you can think of and gives you less frames, dlss does gives you boost in fps but makes your game blurry and makes spotting enemies hiding, far away or laying down almoast impossible that's why its someting i woud always avoid, meybe consider it in 2/4k resolution

@@eighto1213 always go for highest resolution that your monitor supports, if its 1080p then its good, if Ur using 2k and with lovest settings you cant get stable 60 fps at least then lover resolution but i woud only do it if i have no options left

@ Yes, I use a laptop, I noticed that the video card is loaded only by 40-50% during the game, there are times when on some cards the load jumps to 80% and the fps becomes around 80-90.

@@glorytoukraine4334simply cause 4060 laptop only has 6GB of VRAM and this is required too much VRAM to load stuff over far distance. For example to load medium graphics in 1440p your graphics card consumption level is 90% for 12gb of VRAM but because you only have 6GB so your graphics card can not utilize more than it power so it’s only run at 50%

So I will say that typically a wider FOV around like 100 is good for FPS games, but Squad is different. Increasing your FOV "zooms out" your view and makes it harder to see far away targets so definitely leave it at 90. Source: Used like 100-110 FOV for a while and was wondering why it was so hard to see enemies.

Leave it at 90 in Squad. Increasing your FOV in the game will expand the edges of your FOV and compress the middle of your screen.

Yes so in your case you shoud have shadows on lov, that's only diffrend i woud suggest for you, definetly keep texture quality on medium but if you still dont ja e stable 60 fps put material quality on lov, my pc gpu rtx 2060 6gb is not far diffrend from 1660 super that's why i know that's shoud be best choice for you

@OperatorAron, what fixed my problem is turning on DX11 which IMPROVED the graphics by SO MUCH even when texture quality is on medium and everything else is on low. I turned AA on but quality on low, AA samples on 4, and no DLSS. I would say putting DX11 fixed a lot of problems RTX 3050 TI Ryzen 7 5800H 16gb ram (Legion 5 laptop btw)

Unfurtunetly i dont have acces to pc with AMD graphics card, but this settings shoud be all good as long as you optymize your AMD panel, as nvidia users we have nvidia panel that we need to optymize as well
