If you get stuttering or bad performance make sure you set the game to use DX11 instead of DX12. I found that alone made the biggest difference for stable performance.

I don't mind music players if you're doing so in the initial drive from base. That feels like the sort of place where it's not immersion breaking because frankly real soldiers do that shit at times. But not in the middle of a damn firefight.
