+d3rrial I didn't think this is a real problem, because everyone should know that his mocap performance is only so good because he is such a awesome actor. He can't be so good witch mocap without that. I know this since I know he played Gollum. I would go so far and would say, that mocup reduce an actor to his pure actor performance. So if an actor is bad with mocap, what did that say about him? I think many. With mocup an actor need all his talent to play a character, because there is no film set that helps him to play his role. He need his full skills of imagination and so his full actor skill. So no question for me, Andy Serkis is an awesome actor.

I've always thought the Vanduul were more like Morwen than Kilrathi myself, but I guess more Star Citizens are familiar with Wing Commander than Outlander.

+HydraStrike once they finish squadron 42 they will have more devs and staff to work on star citizens they cant release all the content on sc before squadron 42 is released as it will ruin it for every one alot of content and other stuff from sq42 will go in the sc universe cant wait for sc plantery landing and planet exploration and i am mostly looking forward to trading and exploring and multi crew ships will be better when they expand the sc universe and make it bigger i feel sorry for any one who think this is a scam especially paying the high paid actors like Gillian Anderson and the other known actors my pc is ready to play this game imagine playing sc and squadron 42 in vr on the htc vive it will be cool

I was a bit concerned about the Vanduul being too human-like and not enough like the Arachnids in Starship Troopers or similar at first. But this appears to be shaping up to a really interesting plot since the antagonists can have good motives and you may sympathize with them as well. Really curious of how it will play out :) The acting appears top notch. Serkis always kills it. And Patrice appears to be a great actor as well :D

Those are even just placeholder models. They were talking recently that they're only just finishing up the Vanduul base model this week or so, and this Performance Capture session was last summer. It'll look a LOT better than what it looks like here.
