yea. he doesnt show all of em, just the most common ones. you can construct to a shape you know, or just learn all cubeshapes.
Didn't even type out the algorithms in the description?! What is this the dark ages? [EDIT: I was just being obnoxiously playful back then. A great list already existed back then. Here is this link hem.bredband.net/_zlv_/rubiks/sq1/sq1-shape.html]

Lazy Einstein it’s intuitive it’s not algorithmic that’s the wrong way to learn it
@LazyEinstein4 жыл бұрын
@@xdmemes5821 It was more of a joke, tbh. I would not expect Brandon to do all that extra work above and beyond the great videos he makes. There was a well-organized list of the CS(Cube shape) subset already. You can find the updated version here: hem.bredband.net/_zlv_/rubiks/sq1/sq1-shape.html As for how one should learn CS. That depends on one's goals. If one knows that they want to become to be a world-class Square-1 speed solver, learning CS algorithmically would be great. It allows one to be able to start solving CS cases optimally right for the start. The amount of time it would take one to become proficient in learning CS intuitively would also be roughly the amount of time it would take to learn a healthy amount of CS, if not fully, via algorithms. The difference would be that the algorithmic learners would be better off in the upper-classes of speedsolving because they are already solving CS optimally. At this point, the algorithmic-learner would only have to focus on things such as execution speed/finger tricks optimization/etc. The intuitive-learner would have so much more work to do later on. I'd argue that learning CS intuitively would be way less beneficial than when compared to learning F2L intuitively first. This really only matters to those who want to main Square-1. If one just likes to speed solve all WCA events or wants to get better at Square-1 than they already are, with no major long-term goals in mind, then I agree that learning CS intuitively is the better way to go.

+Brandon Lin Please help me I was just wondering like for example take the Shield-Kite Shape. So what do I do if I have shield on bottom and kite on top? Should I just flip the square-1 over and continue? Cuz if I do that then I will have yellow on top instead of white, and also the middle layer will be weird because in my regular orientation I have the small middle layer piece to the left but now I will have it on the right.

ryan lau (For some reason I can't reply to your previous comment) These aren't all the shape combos, there are a lot more. As for the hardware issue, my Square-1 actually also overshoots. Play with the tensions a bit, maybe lube the sides to make them a bit more gummy and clean it out as necessary. Really, just experiment with different things.
