Like the others, I did the same thing. Ordered one at O’Reilly’s, discovered it was the wrong one, sent it back. Ordered LMC’s and it was just like the other one. Looked all of the internet and have yet to found one that matches the original. Great explanation! Huge help! Thanks so much.

I'm going through the exact same realization. It's so frustrating what they did. I don't have the metal tabs/clips (loose part) on my lower mounts but your explanation helped me imagine what should be there. My big issue was how to retain those lower mounts...now I know...thx.

Thanks for the info, I did the same thing, went to O'Reilly's, got back to the house and was like Whattt' (with a southern accent) crazy thing is this, doesn't even come close to matching, boxed it back up, and then found your video, I now have it mounted, thanks for the info..
