This tutorial is on how to make a square knot! You can use this knot to make, bracelets, anklets, or other things like knots for adjustable bracelets. I hope you are all having a great April!

FAQ:
How long does this bracelet take?
~for me it took about 5ish minutes, but it can take longer or shorter depending on how long you want to make it.
What kind of thread do you use?
~I use DMC cotton embroidery floss. I usually get it from Michaels, but you can also find it at Walmart or on Amazon.
What is a wingspan?
~it is the length from your fingertips on your left hand to your right hand. For me it is about 75-80 inches or 2 meters.

Cut a long piece of string and fold it to make a loop then cut another longer piece and fold it to make a lope. Then tie the loops. Find the two shorter strings and put one to the left and to the right of the two strings in the middle. Take the right string and make a four. Take the left string and place it over the line on the four that is pointing towards the left, then take it under the string that you put your working string over and under the two stings in the middle. After that you’ll have two strings pointing out pull those two strings and repeat the same step for the other side. Hope it kinda helps!

How long are the knot strings? I was making one and ran out :(

you have to make the knotting strings longer than the base string. I usually do a wingspan length

How do you do it with the 2 different colors. I’m doing it the same way as here but it doesn’t look right. Granted I just started so I can see if it looks better later. It looks like there is only one color

How do you end the bracelets? I've watched so many tutorials all of the floss bracelets they show the different style braids and stop without showing how they tie/ connect/ end the bracelets. So it isn't very helpful for a beginner like me.

Hi nice channel love the bracelets what is 2 meters are you using centimeters 75 inches is an lot I use to do it all the time for my girls and have forgotten new subbie to your channel

You use the 75 inches and fold it in half to make two strings. It makes it easier for less measuring and cutting. You can also cut the string individually if you would like.
