The song's title alone is loaded with meaning and tells you so much. The track itself has a very mysterious and spiritual feel to it, which is appropriate when the ultimate truth of the Wave Existence is revealed. Another example of Mitsuda's brilliance.

I think there's something missing about the title, like "The One who bares fangs at god". Anyway, it's a strong willed song for a strong willed game. Still wondering if we ever get a modern rerelease, and just be it a PS1 rerelease of it (even if it's still in the 90s english translation availible).

this song is xenogears both symbolically and metaphorically, every thing the game is trying to bring across on an emotional level and all the meaning the game is meant to have in musical form, it is both flawed and a masterpiece much like the game itself, remember there is nothing perfect in the world but despite how broken this world is and all of us are we can have in impact on each other for the better, we must strive for the truth to the best of our ability!

FFIX doesn't need a remake, nor should it get one after seeing what they did with FFVIIR. Xenogears would need a full, top to bottom remake, FFT: WotL definitely needs a remaster, or at least port to consoles.

Just got done replaying this game again two weeks ago. If you haven't played it in 10-20 years, it isn't the game that you remember. It's aged the worst of any video game I've ever played. I remember it being great over 20 years ago, and I don't have many memories of it when I replayed it like ten years ago. This time, it was mostly negative. It's marred by technical issues (which weren't present in other games from the time), many characters are barely given any development beyond their introduction, combat (ESPECIALLY in gears) is boring at best (again, not true in other games from the time period), and the story isn't even close to what people are making it out to be. If it's been awhile and you're thinking of revisiting Xenogears, don't. Allow it to remain a happy memory.

Even with it’s obvious development issues, the worldbuilding and Themes remain some of the strongest and most thought provoking I‘ve ever witnessed in a piece of fiction. As much as I enjoy the Blade titles, I do think they sometimes simplify its Themes too much in order to appeal to a wider audience

I played Xenogears for the first time a few months ago, and I will only say that is one of the most impactful pieces of fiction I never experienced, masterpiece of videogames !
