I love this game. It's my favourite game of all time! Princess Garnet is one of the best video game character. I love the whole soundtrack! I think that I have to back to this game once again!

0:40 Dagger "Steiner?" [Steiner walks in] Steiner "Yes, Princess!" Dagger "Um..." "I'd like to find Zidane and talk to him..." Steiner "Princess, you have more important matters at hand!" "You live in a different world now!" I don't see how that is stopping Garnet from having Zidane brought to the castle since she is in charge now. [The door to the room opens, and Doctor Tot walks in] Tot "O-Oh. What's happening here?" "Princess, it is time for you to get changed." [Tot walks in. Beatrix is at the doorway] "General Beatrix, will you help her?" Beatrix "Yes, sir!" Tot "Oh, there is something I must give you, Princess." [He lifts his hand; she takes something from him] [Received Opal!] [Received Topaz!] [Received Amethyst!] Tot "Those stones contain your power, which Queen Brahne forcibly..." "Well, that is all in the past..." Yeah well, Brahne taking the Eidolons only happened in the first place partially because of you stupidly agreeing to Dagger's dumb "go home and just talk with mom" plan and allowing her on the Gargant ride going to Alexandria to get herself captured, Tot. I refer back to what I said before about how Tot should have known about Kuja and should have been working with Cid. Also, where were those summon stones anyways? Did Brahne keep them in her robes and were retrieved from her corpse? And what happened to the Dark Matter? Only the items containing Shiva, Ifrit and Atomos are here while the Dark Matter containing Odin is found at the Auction House in Treno for some reason. This is also where the game shoves a bunch of summons at you all at once with Garnet (Leviathan, Shiva, Ifrit, Atomos and Odin) that requires a lot of grinding with AP (Ability Points) to master them to keep them in your move set, and what's worse is that happens all during Dagger's mute wangst and "FAILED, DAGGER COULDN'T CONCENTRATE" segment. [Beatrix walks towards Steiner and Dagger. Tot walks to the door] Tot "Master Steiner...?" [Steiner turns to face him] "Master Steiner, do you intend to stay here and watch?" Steiner "N-No, I am not..." "E-Excuse me!" [Steiner and Tot leave] Dagger "Beatrix..." "I'd like to see Zidane... Please?" Beatrix "Now may not be a good time." Dagger "Even you agree with Steiner." Beatrix "Your Highness..." Dagger "I know... It's okay." Seriously?! You are the queen now! What is stopping you from ordering Zidane to be allowed into the Castle and to be with him?!

0:00 Garnet "Doctor Tot!" Tot "Ah, Princess!" Garnet "Were you reading big book again?" Tot "Ha ha ha... I've already read every book in this library." "But I think better when I'm surrounded by old books." Garnet "Really? I don't like books." Tot "You are a person of dignity. It is imperative that you study hard." Garnet "I know, I know... Oh, but I was quite taken by that book you gave me." "What is it called? It was..." Tot "Was it 'I Want to Be Your Canary,' by Lord Avon?" Garnet "Oh yes, that's the one! So there is a book I like after all." See here? Once again, emphasis is being put on 'I want to be Canary' and its author, like that story and this repeatedly mentioned Lord Avon character are really significant, but none of it ultimately factors into the main story and lore. (I refer the readers back to my previous comment in the play themes about how 'I Want to Be Your Canary' should have been huge foreshadowing for IX's plot and a magnificent reflection of Zidane's and Garnet's love story, and yet it barely was) The only thing that book loosely connects to is Zidane and Garnet, which is ironic considering that it is now being brought up during the point where Garnet has left Zidane in the gutter, going back to my point about how that book/play has a better love story than the actual love story, because I'm pretty sure that story's main couple didn't poison and blow off each other. Why is Garnet even so taken in by that book, because she is a huge romantic? The game doesn't really convey that well, especially with how she treats Zidane for most of it. Tot "My, my." Garnet "What's this, Doctor Tot?" Tot 'That is a globe of Gaia. It's a model of our planet." Garnet "A Gaia globe? I never knew our castle was shaped like a sphere." Tot "Ha ha ha... We live on the surface, Princess." Garnet "?" Okay I know that Garnet is supposed to be just a child in this flashback, but Garnet is actually from a whole other continent, from Madain Sari, which she left when she was six (And keep in mind that Eiko is that same age when we meet her and even she doesn't demonstrate the same level of ridiculous naïvety and obliviousness that Garnet does), yet she thinks that the castle is "the whole world"? Yes, she has amnesia (the dumb inconvenient kind), but her subconscious should be triggered by discussions like this. She has repeated dreams of when she left Madain Sari when it was being devastated, like we see in the game's opening. She even subconsciously knows the "Melodies of Life" song that she sings repeatedly like we saw in Lindblum and Dali. Yet nothing about this discussion of the globe and places outside the castle is triggering anything in Garnet's mind and memories? Tot "Ah, yes, the stars! They inspired the theories relating stones and eidolons." "That is why..." "Oh! I'm sorry, I was lost in thought again." Also this, Tot is talking clearly about Eidolons. These words about Summoners and Eidolons isn't jogging anything for Garnet?
