Squaremoji - Tutorial Level - Made with GDevelop Free Game Engine

Hi there, it has been a while since the last update about my game. I am preparing a playable prototype which will include 3 levels: Playground level (just a level with different platforms and structures), a builder mode, where you will be able to build your own level and here is a short video of the tutorial level.

I was wondering, if you're going to do tutorial about making a boss fight, i mean how to make boss healthbar and boss attack patern (example: he's he shoot two Times with normal bullet, then he shoot homing bullet, then he charge at You 3 times and repeat...), cause this Would be very helpfull....

Yes it’s an image in this case , but you can add outline to a text object In Gdevelop . The reason I have an image here is just because my outline is not regular

Are you still considering making a tutorial about ghost trails. And using timers to set up a combo attack. The game engine is shaping up nicely and you are the spearhead of showing its capabilities

You can build for iOS but you need to do it manually and have a MAC

To be honest GDevelop has everything you need to make almost any kind of 2D game, it's just about using the right tools together :) in this case is just physics engine that works just great

I still need to optimize it better, but for now i am deleting object that fall outside of the playing area, build levels from a small number of the same type of objects, so i use less textures, activate and deactivate physics engine when needed, use mp3s for the sounds, minimize amount of animations, re-use / repeat same frames, delete particles after they have finished their life cycle, Dont use filters like blur and similar, Things like that
