2:26 LOL my favorite part of this video. Hey thanks for the shoutout, I was so pleased to see you in the bonus stage seats for my presentation. Meant a lot that you'd stick around! Loved seeing little square pegs in battle and then immediately get clapped, he's a riot and has such a bright future. It was awesome to have you on the stage, I loved hearing your memories and stories, no need to thank us, if anything we should be thanking you for giving us that entertainment and knowledge. My heart flutters for that amazing and crisp clean copy of Zillion you got. Super stoked for you to play it. You'll need to hand draw a map of the underground labyrinth or you can just look up the map online... it's a Metroidvania-style game and it's INCREDIBLE. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it! Awesome video, I hope to see you at another con and if I don't I know you'll be at MGC next year!

Dropped in to watch your video and live vicariously through you, since I didn't get to as much as I wanted to. I'm watching and really enjoying the journey and... BOOM! You have me sandwiched between two lovely humans with my goofy azz grin. 😂 It was so awesome meeting you. My social anxiety was over 9000, so your kindness and conversation were most welcome! Thank you for the shout-out and as a Wisconsinite, I'm glad your time here was fun!

What a beautiful video. This is just getting me stoked for a little con coming up that we will both be attending 😊 You can tell that there was no shortage of fun and friendship and good food, not to mention video games. Now lemme see those pick ups! Let's go! Love the gifts from Gary and Thor. Haven't played many of the game you picked up but knowing that you recommend them is high praise. Awwww nice, some wicked Mega Man stuff. Still so happy I was able to add to the shrine ❤. So excited to meet ya my friend!

Great video my friend. Thanks for the shoutout. Funny that we both picked up a copy of Zillion. Great game. Ultima was a great pickup. A miter saw? I feel like I've seen Lame Dad those in one or two of his videos, lol.

Fantastic overview - this convention's vibes are immaculate! Awesome to see you hanging with Adam Koralik - as I'm a die-hard Shenmue fanboy, he's a pretty big name in the community ✌️

Cool video. Looks like a lot of fun. Hope I can go sometime. My fear about going to a gaming con is that I will give into my love of the TI-99/4A and start buying everything. Also thank you for those clips of the panels. As soon as the one guy mentioned Quest for Glory I knew I had to check out Tiger Chainsaw's videos.

I went several years ago when it was still held at a conference center in a hotel. My friends and I booked a room there and made a weekend of it. The highlights were playing hours of Killer Queen and finding some NES gems that I did not already own. That's also the first place I ever tried an Oculus headset.

Looked like an absolute blast was had by all. I would love to shoot the breeze with Mr Riggs and the like. Glad you got to add some special items to your collection, Dave uses his saw fir a completely different than intended purpose 🤣

Gary was on key without having the music play haha well done. Speaking of music, those sheet music prints were pretty cool! Great recap Jay. Also I saw a copy of Super Tennis and you didn't pick it up, for shame.

I always have fun watching (most) game con videos and this one is definitely included in that bunch! Jay, fun stuff! At TORG 2022, did you see that guy at the back with the table of nothing but plastic bins of import N64 games? They were mostly $5- $10 with the max being $20 I think for some bins of carts. I grabbed 2 or 3 for the heck of it. I hope he is at CORGS or TORG this year if he has more.

We often tell people the DK Barrel is better known than we are and here's proof--it went to MGC when we could not. ha ha That mod class shot was great--how much fun would that be? TC was such a great choice for host--he's a great guy and his personality knows no bounds. Aaaaand Milwaukee is overrun with robots... Maybe we were safer at home. ha ha Ooof, I've been noticing Atari prices on the rise lately. Remember when a couple of bucks had us pause? Heh, I would've also made Lady Laci try to reach the too-high coin drop. lol LARP time means you need to check out some ren-faires! The Oak Barrel? So our barrel even has its own restaurant? Ha ha Whiskey battered cheese curds? Okay, back onto we missed out... That World of Nintendo stuff is amazing--so many Zelda pieces I want. Sweet craft gift from Gary, that's great. Thor's cleaning kit is fun--we had a short-lived collab series called Show Us Your Kits that this would be perfect for. Good pickup on Mole Mania--with Shiggy getting up there, as morbid as it is, now's the time to collect his back catalogue. Solid game pickups Jay; good calls on Zillion and HotD of course; these guys know their stuff! Love those sheet music prints.

I don't know if I'd ever heard that before and maybe forgot it about GB games being region free, but I think every game should be region free. I also think they should all be open source, as that would enable game preservation on a whole other level. I had no idea they made a Spyro game of any kind for the GBA, so I'll have to look into that. I don't know how you might feel about emulation, but all of my old consoles were packed away years ago and I only ever play with an emulator. I find it to be both more convenient and better than the original hardware since I can use one controller to interface with the computer and play any game I want at any time, save however and whenever I want as well as use translation patches with ease. I only collect the physical games so I can feel right about playing them, but now days it's all emulation. What are your thoughts on that?
