Listening to this today made me feel nostalgic for 9th grade, which is weird because I never listened to this until much later. The explanation? It reminds me of "Prelude" and "Kiara" by Bonobo, which I listened to a lot in that year and found very memorable. I think there's something similar about the timbres and harmonies of this song compared to those, and it gives me a similar feeling (Whoops, I originally put Kerala when i meant Kiara. One edit of several.)
