Squarespace How to Add A YouTube or Vimeo Link to Your Site

H David! My custom featured image is not active. It says I have to upload a video. Does this mean, that using a link to youtube makes it so you can't have your own thumbnail here anymore? Thank you!

If I add a Vimeo or KZbin URL the way you're first showing it there's no audio when it's playing back on the Squarespace web site. I don't see a way to enable audio. If I click the Share link on the Vimeo site and copy the HTML and then in Squarespace select Add Block and select Code and past the HTML, the video can play with audio and controls. Does the option you first showed by pasting only the video URL not support audio?

If you add a Vimeo link onto your SS site, no. If you upload an actual video file to SS , yes!!

Great question - try using the embed block instead of the video block. And see if you can pull the embed code to share, it just the url - lmk if it works

thanks this worked well however I keep getting an "Unable to retrieve video. Replace link or try again." error when trying to add the KZbin share link. Any suggestions?
