Fantastic video. So clear and thorough and the way you strike the ball and direct it where you want is very convincing. Subscribed 🎉.

One of the best and most complete videos on this topic I have seen. A ton of valuable info packed into only 6.5 minutes. Well done.

Hi Josh, what do you recommend to train to always watch your opponent till he really Hit the Ball?
@swingeasyguy8 ай бұрын
Thanks Josh, excellent video. Do you have a comment about when to use a more closed racket face vs. more cut when you want to hit a very low and hard shot?
@JoshAttwellSports8 ай бұрын
It's a great question! I'll make a video on it at some point as it's really difficult to sum up in writing! The simple version is that hitting flatter will get the ball to skid away faster due to the flat trajectory, whereas cutting the ball will get the ball to stay shorter as it will come down into the floor harder after the front wall which will slow it down. I can't really explain it particularly well here but keep an eye out for a video at some point.

Do u keep ur left arm in still position for posture and stability?
@JoshAttwellSports5 ай бұрын
The left arm should really be used as a counterbalance for posture and stability. It's a bit hard to explain without visual examples. My left arm is probably too floppy if you're looking for absolute perfection, but I don't feel like it makes as big of a difference as all the other points I've made.

Great content and explanation. I do find it difficult to follow along with you as you seem to be hurrying your speech.

What about foot 90 degree to the side wall to help playing perfect straight drives?
@JoshAttwellSports8 ай бұрын
It depends if you're at the front of the court or not. If you're at the front I would say 45 degrees is much better for weight transfer and balance as you're stepping forwards to the ball. As long as your shoulders are rotated enough, you should be able to play perfect straight drives.
