The call at 19:37 could very well have been Stroke, because Rodriquez moved into Grayson's direct path to the ball and blatantly blocked him. Ref could add words to the call, "Mr Grayson, please refrain from barging into your opponent, kindly stop play and ask for a Let, thank you." And maybe add a few works of guidance to Rz, "Mr. Rodriguez, you need to move OUT of your opponent's direct path to the ball, not INTO his path, thank you."

If the referees are undecided on a line call or pick up, they play a let. They weren't sure if the ball was up from Rodriguez.

+Carnivean999 The point starting at 22:25 was clearly good. I cannot believe the refs still let the players open the door and convince them that their original call was wrong. This is a refereeing failure "Umm umm we aren't sure. We will play a let." A clear case of cheating by Grayson combined with wimpy referees. If there isn't enough evidence to over turn the call, then the refs shouldn't over turn it. Why don't the refs force Grayson to use a video review?

+Robert Caulk Players can't use reviews on pick ups. Also if the referees aren't sure then they must play a let. There's nothing about evidence required to overturn a call, that's cricket.

Carnivean999 It is a little odd that the referees made one call, and then decided to switch to "not sure" after Grayson opened the door and convinced them otherwise. In my opinion, the original call should be supported unless there is reason to overturn it. I do not believe one of the reasons should be a player opening the door to argue about the call. Just my opinion though.

+Robert Caulk The central referee makes the original call. On an appeal from the player the 3 referees make a decision. Their options are good, not good or not sure. The majority decision prevails, or in a 3-way split the decision is play a let. If the original decision is not the final decision then the decision is play a let. The decision is entirely on whether the 3 referees thought the ball was good, and they will be experienced enough that Grayson having a whinge will not have affected their call.

You can't actually ask for a stroke, only a let (it has to be awarded).

As the commentators said, most of the game was played in "exhibition mode". A poor advert for the game of squash. Joey kept himself amused by asking a Trivial Pursuit question: "Which referee eats the most kit-kats?" Loose cross-courts, poor short play, aimless squash...
