That tractor was what led me to your channel. What a blessing to be able to see her transformation, and to watch her do what she was built for. A top notch restoration, that remade a beautiful machine.

That tractor is a beautiful thing. Used to drive one back in the 70s. Brings back good memories..

Nothing like watching the channel on my 50 inch TV. Boy you said it Squatch she looks amazing in the sun. You and senior did a great job on her. Now I can't wait to see the D2 5J1113 running. Love the channel.

Great restoration, I'm jealous! I sat in the seat of an M Farmall hoeing potatoes for days at a time and used an H Farmall to spray...
@michaelwest43253 жыл бұрын
Great open shot, very cinematic how she is silhouetted. The M looks like how I imagine she did her first day at work from the factory. And I am always impressed with the simple workman tumblebug, whoever designed it really did good.

Beautiful to watch! Thanks for taking us along - great shots of the tumblebug in action!

As much as you hate painting... You're pretty darn good at it... Looks outstanding... and of course operates extremely well - Congrats...

Great work. Regarding the flies, you should get one of those Australian hats with the corks on strings - to keep them away.

Your H struggled sometimes with the tumble bug, but not the M. It just kept digging. What a sweet machine. You and your dad should be proud.

Grandpa farmed quite a few acres with a super M always loved working at night because of the way the cool air made more hp. Had power steering and I would love to own one

Squatch I love your channel, that Super M is a friggin unit. I wish I could have one.

that tumblebug is a very cool piece of early machinery. what a great example of engineering that used simple but effective methods to get the job done without hydraulics.very useful even in our modern world.
@nathanwoods7583 жыл бұрын
That super M is a great looking tractor. This video really illustrates how much more machine it is over the H.

Great job of getting different photo angles & time lapse. Lots of work with the camera, much less the field work. Thanks Squatch.

She seemed very happy to get back to what she was made for!

That's the proper way of restoring a tractor. Putting it right back to work in the environment it was meant to be in. How all museums should be. Nothing worse than seeing machinery that is all tarted up and just sitting there.

I'm glad to see the Super M out on the land, it's like launching a rebuilt ship back to the ocean.
@maidenrulz733 жыл бұрын
A screenshot of the moment you stopped the tractor at the beginning of the vid would make a beautiful wall picture 🙂
A very sweet old super M . That was a nice lite workout for her. The best way I ever found to brack in a new tractor engine is about 10 grinder mixer loads of grinding ear corn . And then a plow second!! .😊👍🌎🌞
@terrycannon5703 жыл бұрын
Squatch the Super M and the H both pull at my heart strings because I cut my teeth on both of them. Mostly the M . You are right She is a beauty. But I got here because of your Cat Rebuilds. I used to wear nothing but Cat Long sleeve tee shirts with the Caterpillar name on the arm. I had all 3 colors Red Yellow and Black. And several of all 3 colors and of course the Cat Hats. I watched Interstate 20 being built when i was a little boy . My uncle and dad both worked building it. My brother and I both had matching Tonka Trucks and tin cans and made our own dirt roads so my Daddy could see them when he came home from work after a hard day. He always saved something in his lunch box for us to share like an apple or orange or something and we would fight over who got to carry his lunch pail into the house. Without Caterpillar we would still be in the dark ages.

I gotta say, you are one lucky man. Talk about the life of Riley! Of course you did alot to get it there, but you're not going say that wasn't fun too! The M looks and runs great. Of course you know it's gonna get scratches and dents along the way.

Great video. With your great inventiveness you need to make an attachment for the camera that can be attached securely to whatever you are driving at various places. I don't know if you have a drone. Also would be a big improvement. Keep up the wonderful work.

Does Senior know you had his Super M out? I have been around old farms in Oklahoma all my life and this is the first time I've seen a tumblebug, frescos yes but no tumblebugs. I am just fascinated how it works. Good job and good work for the Super M. No video on checking nut and bolt security?

I been waiting all winter for this! I was wondering how you were going to break in the new rebuild I was surprised you didn’t make it bark a little harder but that’s not a critique not at all I just had some old timers tell me in order to seat the rings you had to work it really hard but I was always afraid to do it that way but now I now that’s not necessary! Thanks! You if you ever get some free air time I would appreciate it if you could do a video on how your cultivator mechanically goes up and down. The reason is I have one and it was parked in the working position and I don’t know how to move it now! Oh one more question what gear were you working in there today? Thanks hope you’re going to make a couple more video’s about the Super M 👍

I'm curious you said where you were tipping the subsoil is for a road base? Would you not have stripped the topsoil first for use else where and will stop road sinkage over time any time I do a road or yard area will always strip it down to subsoil first

Thanks for the video bud .... I can get to the other side of the T9 Bucyrus Erie Bullgrader to get the other porcelain insignia.. If you don't mind I would like to keep that one for my wall but I have something Senior might be more interested in.... a 30'-50' hand soap dispenser. I'll shoot you pictures. If you still want the Bucyrus Erie Bullgrader porcelain insignia I'll stay true to my word and send it to you.

Love the Farmall Super M she is a beauty indeed. Actually I have a question for Squatch253 and this relates to automatic transmissions. What would be in your opinion the best and the worst automatic transmissions you have come across?
