Sounds like the sway bar bushings recently happened to me. Take the bushings off and grease them. Easy fix

My 2012 gmc sierra made this exact noise for less than a week before my front driver side wheel and spindle cane off at 55mph! I hit a ford transit van headlight to headlight at 55mph. Very scary incident and the only major accident ive been in and im 35 years old.

My mazda 6 has this noise, driving, turning the wheels, going over the slightest bumps in the roads, and judders when at full lock left or right turning out a parking space or junction. Likes the wheels are locked scraping, then drives normal. Think it either this or bad control arm bushings or joints.

Upper or lower control arm. I had the same noise on my 2005 dodge magnum. Or to save money you can buy a grease gun with a needle head attached . Puncture the rubber of the bushing and insert the grease . Worked for me until they where changed out

In the same boat ! Replaced rack and pinion and even tried greasing the ball joint like some have said to . The noise still is there , I am going to replace my struts and see what that does. Only makes noise when im stopping, going over lumps and bumps or turning my wheel left

Ok im back my upper control arm is new on both sides now. An my car still makes that noise going over bumbs. When i lift my car up. I hear it from the center arm. The arm in the middle. @@carlareleford9639 mine is a 2012. 1st and 2nd gen fusions have 2 lower control arms, that are separate, on each side. And they both have the ball joint at the ends. So 2 lower ball joints on each side. Lucky us. Haha. If they changed one control arm on one side then most likely it’s the other one on that same side going bad. Hope that’s not to confusing. Cooking dinner. lol

U need to lubricate it regularly. When it’s dry the joins rub and squeak. During winter it’s cold and wet making a good enough lubricant to where you can’t hear it.

My Jeep Liberty is doing this exact sound once you drive for a few minutes. If the bushings are shot I wouldn't imagine spraying WD-40 or AT-205 Reseal would do anything.

I got an update,my truck no longer squeaks. I changed the upper and lower control arms bc they were old but mechanic said it was definitely the (ball joints & bushings )..but do not replace bushings alone bc that cost a lot of work for that time bc it’s hard as hell lol, just replace everything you’ll come out cheaper

that's the front suspension. The Crown Vic has a one part ladder type frame so I'm not sure what subframe you are referring to.

Suspensions are more or less the same, so look for bushings to replace or greaseable parts.

Mine does the same but it's a car, it only does it when I turn the wheel back and fourth sometimes it goes away and comes back but when I drive it's quiet and smooth I think it's my shocks as rubber pieces are just floating around, my links, bushings have been replaced a few months back

Upper control arm bushings. DO NOT buy or bother with replacing the bushings, buy the whole arm with bushings already pressed in.

@@printissgraham4930 back as in the rear bushing of the front upper control arm or rear axle? If it's on a Crown Vic CVPI like mine it could be the rear control arms bushings or the springs themselves. There's a rubber isolator that goes on top of the springs that wears out.

@@tqwuditduyh7291likely won't work. I tried that already to mine. Did the tie rod ends and upper and lower ball joints. Was less squeaky for 5 minutes, then right back to squeaky as heck. I'm replacing the upper control arms, lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, sway bar end links, and sway bar bushings. They all have noticeable wear on the bushings and grease boots. Best to get it all done in 1 shot.
