@@jonnylpenman I don't think that's true. He plays them without processing in the video you linked. Of course, there will be some compression and reverb, but that's the case with any amplified performance.

That's not a 'fart sound', that is just Linsey Pollak doing his thing. You may be confusing it because sometimes an anal sphincter produces similar sounds, but generally we refer to that as anally pollaking
