I thought you would instantly recognize that the Main Guy.....the one who is behind the Squid Games is pretending to be a player (player 001) in the game. Episode 1 (I think) shows the dude face in the flashback. He's the one who took off the black mask and shot his (cop) brother. Remember? OK.....well that's the same guy who is pretending to be one of them.
