Tbh .. I actually watched this series for gong yoo .. I watched the series after 2 minutes of its air time.. I didn’t know that it will blast into the world like that .. I also watched the trailer when it had only 4k views ,, I mean they only released it about 3 minutes ago that Time.. only for gong yoo .. I believe most of the first raw watchers watched it for gong yoo .. never knew it will be like this .. I thought he was the main character but anyway I want him to be a big part of this season 2.. the season 1 cast was pretty much over rated .. how could they not give gong yoo the main role ? The amount of excitement I have for this show is beyond what anyone can begin to comprehend. I'm a big fan of all movies And episodic shows. And video games alike. There is very very little shows/movies/games that I look forward to coming out anymore. And that's mainly because in the last 4 to 5 years the media and entertainment industries have become soulless and greedy cash grabs. However there are select few things I see every once in awhile that truly gives me hope and excitement. I was deeply invested and really really loved watching Squid Games! Was blown Away by just how good the story and writing was and the design of the movie set itself! I cannot wait to see what is coming next, this is something I've been wanting very badly. and I am so happy to see an update about season 2 and the confirmation that the story will be continued!!! I can't wait to see what will continue on after season 1 i can hardly wait!!!! 😊😊

That new cast is actually incredible. They’re all some of my favourite and most talented actors in Kdrama-land. Also I believe all of the new cast have played romantic leads, but also played some darker, more morally ambiguous characters in the past too and so I have no idea what characters to expect they’ll be playing. I’m also just so happy to see Wi Ha Joon back - they never confirmed it and he has so many big upcoming dramas! And of course Gong Yoo too!

@@dzifaafuagollo5655 spoilers I’ve also seen him play not the actual antagonist but kinda on the line between the 2 in strangers from hell cause he had thoughts and images of killing people he disliked and it was revealed at the end that he killed every Tennant and still kept the bracelet made out of human teeth so that and unlocked and like 1 or 2 more is what I was going off of cause I haven’t actually seen to many with him yet but I’m planning on watching some more of his shows/movies

Of course, Yim Siwan must be one of the new cast; he is a great actor who has worked with veteran actors such as Song Kang Ho, Lee Byung Hyun, and many others, and now with Lee Jung Jae. All of Siwan's filmography is incredibly great, so the outcome of season 2 will be better. Casting directors did a great job of casting Siwan, and Squid Game is so lucky to have him. He's been invited twice to Cannes for a reason. He's truly a great actor. I can't wait to see what his role is. I hope he's one of the main characters, because he deserves to be one of the main characters.
