Squids should be cooked only for a minute lest they turn rubbery.

I’ve been waiting for you to add the masala powder…and id notice none of it that you add…so…i am now learning masala doesn’t necessarily mean there’s masala powder on it….sorry..but just wanna learn Indian way of cooking since I’m nit that yet good at adding spices…although I’ve been using it for a decade but still not that good…and lately trying chicken masala,beef masala,and now seafoods masala…so what does masala really mean? Is it mean sautéed with basic ingredients like what u add on it like the basic turmeric and chili powder and curry leaves and black pepper?

Mr.Kapoor the Squid Masala recipe was from 2014 and you have left it on Utube. That cooking is an abuse of seafood. I do not know how you let this on the public Forum. Firstly Squid take less than 3 min to cook. Your segment cremated it for over 5 min. The only think left was a sea burial. Mr. K you are a great Chef and Indians from Sub continent do not know how to cook seafood.

I swear i thought Sanjeev was a guy. Anyway, here's the thing to remember. Coconut oil burns up really fast. It should be used last, fried with a bit of masalas in a separate pan, and added to the main pan. Trust me, being in Goa, and getting many foods burnt with coconut oil, I know the drill. Oh and this sanjeev has a really pwetty face xD
