Underrated review. It really helps that you played some well known basslines that a beginner like me would play first. This video finally convinced me to buy this bass, I'm really excited to become a dumb bass player that no one likes

Finally! Someone testing a bass with songs most of us play in our cover bands. No showing off or mindless slapping. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
@RichardAshbyMusic4 жыл бұрын
I figured it would be more beneficial to showcase the playing style that is the basis for most songs, finger style, while the slapping and all that is cool this bass is made for beginners and that's how musicians of that level (including myself because I'm definitely a beginner) will learn to play

Your right. Hardly heard any bass there. Turn down the music!
@areyouavinalaff4 жыл бұрын
I heard all the bass just fine. was a bit loud compared to the talking, though, shit myself when the music started and had to turn it down, but bass is easy to pick out. it takes time to train your mind and ear to isolate what you want to hear in a song and it's made even easier by seeing it get played. develop your eyes and ears, people, it'll help you learn... don't just ask for it to be made easier for you.

I saw a video on you tube where they were comparing the sound of a Fender P bass and a Squier p bass. They almost sounded the same. The only different is that a fender will set you back a few thousand. Will most probably get this package to start out. It's quite reasonable! Good sound quality as well.

@TheBardMusic4 жыл бұрын
Awesome, i think it's the best bass for beginners. Especially beacause of all the mods you can do to upgrade it and the price! btw i would suggest you learn some hand shifting and improving your fretting hand's position, you shouldn't arch it like that. Your fingers should be parallel to the frets and your thumb should be anchored to the back of the neck. That's how you can improve your technique! Subscribing, awesome video.

Well the bass sound on Feel Good Inc. had to have been heavily altered to get that iconic sound that we know today. So I'm sure that with any bass, a little distortion and saturation, and the right EQing you could replicate the sound without much issue but you more than likely won't get that sound coming straight out the bass

Does it make sense to test a bass with sound that you can't hear anything about? No! We hear Queen, Jackson and their original Songs but nothing from the bass sound. This inexpensive bass has a good sound and sounds good in the studio as well as on stage. Recommended for beginners who don't have the budget for a professional bass. Later, after some practice, you can always buy a better one. Try it on a Marshall amp. You will not be disappointed. Rock, Reggae, Funk, Soul, Metal,....all is possible.
