I love how all of us Nirvana nerds play Lithium as accurately as possible. I never see people play the power chord with 2 fingers, never hear that high note backstroke when plucking the power chords, never hear the start of the song with an e minor chord, any of that.

I need to finish my mustang lol. Mine has been an unfinished project since 2017.. I ended up waiting for the right deals and eventually got a half painted squier VM Mustang body (no wiring) and squier jaguar neck that had cracked finish all for almost pocket money. I dread the refinishing process so it just sits :(

That improvement on that squier bullet mustang is incredible, a very good improvement if the Stratocaster's fixed bridge is not to your liking. I am interested to know if the body size of the mustang bullet is the same as that of a fender

Cobain aside, I actually prefer the regular switch and bridge on my Bullet Stang. I owned a couple of mustangs, and I always hated the mustang bridges and switched.

This was my first build ever and I was on a very strict budget, so I just used the cheapest trem unit available on Amazon.

@@davisjpunk okay so you have to find screws with the same threads with a larger head and use those instead, you will have to drill a bit so they fit comfortably but it's better than going all the way through the body

The body is very thin, so be careful not to route too deep. I'm sure it's possible, I think I've seen someone else do it before. I decided to just take out the springs. I prefer locked trems and flipped cigar tubes on Mustangs.

You may have missed the point, but it was to closely replace a $2000 Fender as cheaply as possible. This build was only $300 versus the $2000+ KC stangs are going for now. As for the phase switching and trem, those are vintage mustang specs, not just a Cobain thing. I own more unique gear than I do Cobain gear, but my content is specialized on Cobain stuff because of all the mystery that surrounds it.
