Back in 2007 I bought an American Deluxe Fender Strat that I never particularly bonded with. I sold it to get my wife’s wedding dress. It took a Bullet Strat - which would make the internet gear snobs scoff - to make me fall in love with a Stratocaster guitar. I was a Les Paul guy for decades. I love the Strat sound and feel now and the Bullet does it so remarkably well. Amazing and incredibly introduction jam as always Mr. Simpson. You are a rare player that a guitar becomes one with you.

Yesterday i bought a 2017 Squire Bullet Strat, white with a rosewood (or laurel) ? fretboard. HSS. Fantastic neck and frets. Changed the strings, adjusted the action and intonation - Sounds and plays beautifully and all for £80 . I know just how Dave feels!
@shadowsong15 жыл бұрын
you know i agree. I've tried dozens of these. A lot of people talk like you have to have a vintage/custom shop/american strat to have a real strat, but these feel fantastic. the frets are always done right and neck feels good. There are a million aftermarket parts you can get to make them good enough for anything and they make great guitars. especially if you want a guitar to take the brunt of gigging or rehearsing while you're more expensive guitars stay safe at home.
@antmax5 жыл бұрын
They are great for the money. But I like my VM strat with the full thickness body much better. The Bullet is amazing for the price though. Hard to beat, especially when you can pick them up REALLY cheap used and really good condition for $50 - $80 all day.

Bought an identical red Bullet Strat six weeks ago (colour choice inspired by Knopfler), hoping I was buying something decent enough to learn on since I can't afford much else at the moment and had my heart set on a Strat. I've wanted to play for years but never got round to it somehow. I'm going through a particularly dark patch right now and decided there's no better time to learn... or as I wrote elsewhere recently, to channel my energy and emotions into something beautiful. I hadn't yet discovered your Bullet Strat videos (or your channel at all) when I made my purchase, and I'm so glad to have found them now. I'm confident in my choice, and holy crap your playing absolutely blows my mind. Could listen to you all day. Inspiration for sure, and I'd be happy to have a fraction of your skill someday. Thank you for the incredible music. :)

Got mine in a pack from Toys R us around 2004 in Milton Keynes it sounded better than my USA Strat when i compared them through a Marshall AVT 50 valve state amp , my dad was so angry that he literally got me to go all the way back to Peter Cooks Guitar World in Hanwell and swapped the USA Strat for another guitar lol he was not wanting the money back as he played guitar himself so knew that would have upset me but he just felt that we both were conned as a USA Strat should sound a lot better than a Cheap Chinese made Strat , I think The new USA player Strats are a lot better lets hope so.
