I really enjoyed watching what you two accomplished. It turned out great. Congrats. The stock parts on these Squiers are fine. It's great to see someone modding the look and feel of them instead of pointlessly sidegrading the pickups. There's no reason that can't still be his go-to single coil guitar 20 years from now; learn to do fretwork/fretboard work and you can make that play as good as any custom shop guitar. I gave my Tele the Strat forearm contour and I too figured out that Leo's angle was all wrong (as you point out at 36:27) and put mine in the same place as you did.

Thank you for the great comment. We have a great time learning all things guitar and video shooting. Our audio is the next thing to get right. Hopefully our next video will have better sound.

Great team job Josh now have a custom made guitar done by his own Never sell it to nobody since this can only be transferred to your son. Well done papa!

Would be cool to make a tessellation pattern like Eschers fishes to birds for the inlays! Nice job!

I have been considering what to do the next guitar.. 3D carves, abstract patterns, multiple styles.... or just keep it plain?... too many options.

Well it is very nice to see you and your son work together but the one thing I disagree with is using these electronic or electric Sanders if you wanna call it why not just use a poly stripper without damaging the wood would have been faster you have removed too much wood but anyways thank you for sharing your video I appreciate that hey my hat is opt to both of you

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Reshaping the bodies is part of what we wanted to do to change the feel of the guitars and make them a little original. We are working on modifying traditional body shapes to see how we may like to make our own modified original designs..... Some cool things to show you in the next video too!. Better sound and filming lay out to improve the quality of the videos.

Think about - Burns - Tri Sonic pick-ups in it. it would look mad and proberbly sound better that what's in it now

This guitar has gone through a few changes over the past year.. I'm sure it will be subjected to more mods down the track. Maybe new pick ups.. I think we will be moving onto other guitars for now though. We will be building our own too.
